An essay I'd like to shareWith a harsh keening cry, the white-feathered gull circles in the sky, her beak of vibrant orange gaping in the heat. The sea breeze picks up, catching her off-guard, and she has to fight a little to regain control of her casual glide. The weather is never perfect this close to the sea, but it does little to deter the birds, taking the shifting winds in their stride.
